Career Transitions
Career transitioning begins with an evaluation of the client’s present interests and needs, education, employment, and volunteer experience. Together we assess the client’s desires and abilities in the context of the opportunities in the current work environment. Changes in career paths are fully considered and opportunities for retraining and education explored.
Pressure for career satisfaction is intensifying as the time we spend at work increases and the role of work in our lives expands. Harmonizing the demands of work, leisure activities, and relationships is critical to our prospects for well-being in our lives. Career transitioning is a more narrowly focused and shorter term version of psychotherapy.
