Profile
I treat my patients and clients from a multifaceted perspective developed during twenty years of practice as a psychotherapist, attorney, social worker, and mediator. While my primary activity is practicing psychotherapy, I collaborate with a diverse professional network to provide all my clients with additional supportive care in many crucial areas of their lives.
Psychotherapy patients and legal clients frequently have complex and overlapping issues associated with their individual histories and the realities of modern living. Well-informed practitioners now recognize that mental illness and the problems of living are not distinct maladies. Treatment, however, continues to be specialized, often failing to connect patients and clients to the full range of support needed.
Over time, the collaborative therapeutic relationship and the development of observational skills facilitate a greater ability to examine self and enhance life satisfaction.
A one or two session consultation is frequently part of the initial process of deciding whether some form of counseling might be helpful.
